About the Role

Essity Supply Chain North America is seeking a senior level Warehouse Excellence Manager for our distribution operations in North America and Latin America. This person could be located in any of our North America Locations.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of standards, tools and processes for warehousing excellence (WHEX) and selected other Supply Chain initiatives, using financial and non-financial KPIs
  • Support the implementation of WHEx standards, processes and tools as well as root cause analysis and problem resolution
  • Lead evaluation and validation of proposed changes to processes, systems and tools to determine fit with best-in-class standards and ensure value creation
  • Collaborate internally and externally to identify and implement best practices in the area of equipment, systems, etc. to elevate the performance of warehousing network
  • Establish robust performance management processes for both internal and outsourced warehouse operations across key performance areas of safety, quality, service, cost and organizational capability
  • Develop and implement best practices in logistics supplier governance, ensuring that outsourced operations meet Essity standards and targets
  • Plan, execute and monitor projects, programs and assessments according to agreed and established project management standards, incl. managing resources and budgets.
  • Coach and educate key stakeholders to improve their knowledge of standards, tools and processes, enable them to apply them and to identify and realize continuous improvements.
  • Ensure effective communication to and secure commitment from stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on respective subject matters to stakeholders, and act as lead for specific processes
  • Establish and contribute to good functioning networks by creating an environment of trust, open communication and team work, performing benchmarks and sharing best practices.
  • Be a role model on Safety and compliance meeting all company policies in safety, environment, health and other risk related issues.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline preferred but not required;
  • Eight or more years of related warehouse excellence experience required;
  • Prefer SAP experience or minimum of exposure to other large warehouse management and ERP systems;
  • Spanish speaking skills preferred but not required;
  • Comfortable working in a large matrix organization building influence and collaboration;
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills;
  • Independent self-starter.

Competitive annual salary + annual incentive bonus + benefits.
